Maverick Motorsport are authorized dealers in Polaris, Suzuki, Dinli, Linhi & BSI brands. They also stock a full range of accessories, such as No Fear, Shift clothing. Diadora, Fly and Shift boots.
They have a fully equipped workshop and your vehicle is attended to by qualified technical personnel. Maverick Motorsport also specialize in engine modifications that will not affect your warranty, they just make every component of your machine work better.
Their business extends beyond quads. They also do two wheelers; my visit to the workshop today got us talking about the 1982 Katana, currently leading the log in the classic races that is currently being nursed back to health by Maverick Motorsport ahead of the next event. A major part of their business is in the agricultural sector where they build spraying equipment to owners' specification. Most of the bigger wine estates are their customers and are farming more cost effectively as a result.
Maverick Motorsport have now established a quad training facility that will train all customers, who buy from them. This course will show you how to get the maximum use out of you quad, you will also be trained in caring for the environment. They have joined up as Corporate Members of On Track Club and teamed up with up with Nature Quad Rides and a number of route owners.
Once you have successfully completed the course your Adventure Sports Passport will be stamped accordingly; this will allow you to ride on certain previously forbidden areas for quads like Kagga Kamma and Matroosberg. You will hand in your passport at time of arrival. When you depart, your passport will be stamped & given back to you. This will open other routes for you. If you abuse the privilege the passport will be retained and sent back to Maverick Motorsport; it will be endorsed and the only way to get this back will be to redo the course. In this way we hope to get more routes opened for all quadders.
Through On Track Club Maverick Motorsport are also in the process negotiating access to Nature Conservation areas. The idea is that graduates from On Track Club's Adventure Tourism / Sports Development Programme under guidance of Rangers that will escort quadders in these sensitive areas. In this way you benefit, nature conservation benefits and those who successfully come through the Adventure Tourism / Sports Development Programme are provided with employment opportunities.
Armed with your passport, a whole new window of opportunities for responsible quad riders opens up to you. The aim will be to have total Family Fun.
