The purpose of this dashboard is to keep everybody up to date with the latest developments and to provide a history for those who have recently caught up with this campaign.

From the outset it is important to understand the roll players and how it all fits together:

Displays&Exhibitions are specialist exhibition marketing consultants; our primary client in this particular exhibition marketing campaign is SANParks (Western Cape)

Our primary objective is to develop and grow a substantial, effective client membership database for SANParks and the participating corporate members. More than a database, we are growing a focused, active tourism community that has a vested interest in making use of our respective products and services.

To expand the campaign footprint even further, we have made provision to include all members of the tourism industry that would like to experience this campaign first hand.

We have opted to use the On Track Club website as the communications hub for this project.

To build the biggest adventure tourism based loyalty programme in South Africa as the foundation for Adventure Tourism / Sports Development and the conservation of natural, open spaces.

The history, results and current tasks of this campaign are reflected in date sequence, starting with the most current activities at the top of the page and the earliest history at the bottom of the page.

July: Started taking care of paperwork and, getting systems in place and uploading to the website – So far we have finalised the participation of 53 companies and are busy capturing all their/your listing information and promotional offers ahead our first shopping mall promotion.

Get written confirmation of orders

Many tourism companies have verbally expressed their interest, however, we require these orders in writing before we can proceed. Agreement documents need to be completed in the case of Corporate and Associate members.

Invoicing & payment

We have made the entry level of this campaign ridiculously easy, to the extent that tourism companies are being offered a subscription entry level at only R350 Excl VAT (For a limited time only) so they can test the waters and experience the possibilities of this campaign first hand.

Finalising contact and listing information

This entire campaign is based on effective networking – effective networking is only possible if correct, complete and detailed contact information is readily available. This information will be used as a point of reference for all communiqués related to this campaign, including this website and the PASSPORT.

Finalising monthly special offers

Corporate and Associate members are contractually obliged to make suitable products and services available to all PASSPORT holders at an exclusive, preferential price; we use these special offers as a means of growing the club membership base and, as important, an opportunity for us to refer our members (PASSPORT holders) to their respective outlets. Members of the tourism industry who have subscribed to this campaign will be offered the opportunity to use this as a platform to promote themselves.

June: Started following up on the contacts and responses that resulted from the Indaba – over 300 tourism companies have expressed interest at different levels… this campaign is definitely going places
