| In 2002 they were bussed to Cape Town for the Cape Town Adventure Tour and accommodated for and entire week with all expenses paid. During this time they competed in the SA U19 Adventure Racing Finals and some of the legs of the Cape Town Adventure Tour. They also attended an adventure tourism seminar hosted by Cape Town Tourism – this will be the first time that they got to see what adventure tourism is all about. |

In 2004 they travelled down to Port Elizabeth and were hosted at the Willows Resort.
In 2005 they headed to Limpopo province and were hosted at Stanford Lake College where they participated in the 2004 Development Adventure Challenge for Schools
