The Wild Coast is a magical place. It is a place of legends and traditions. It also reflects the 'passing' of an era… on many, many levels, including the disappearance of Xhosa heritage, the destruction of nature and most significant, the physical death of its people. This project brings prosperity to the region, restores dignity to its people and motivates the existence of natural areas along South Africa's best-kept adventure tourism secret.
Gwexintaba is one of five Adventure Tourism/Sports Development Nodes identified by On Track Club as part of its vision to establish the Wild Coast Adventure Route
